Our Story

This whole thing started when we began digging through old boxes in the closet and realized how much history was just sitting there in the dark.

For the O’Connors, our roots go back to Ireland, but the story really picks up with the long journey across the Atlantic to Pier 21. They started over from scratch and slowly built a life on this side of the ocean. Along the way, there were wartime letters sent back home, Sunday dinners that went on for hours, and endless photos of people whose names we almost forgot to write down.

We wanted a place where all of that could live out in the open instead of sitting in dusty photo albums. It is a simple space to hold onto the letters, the handwritten recipes, and the faces that came before us. That way everyone in the family can scroll through and feel a little closer to where we came from.
